We are still in the holiday season and the telecommunication networks in Nigeria are still dishing us with goodies this season.
MTN Jara Plus isn’t exactly new. It’s been around for a while now but hasn’t made much waves because it’s a test campaign and it’s only available for few subscribers on the MTN Network.
With the 200% bonus on every recharge from N100 and above on the Jara Plus plan, it is similar to the MTN BetaTalk plan. However, the Jara plus offers something better. Not only do you get the bonus when you recharge on the phone, with Jara plus, you get the 200% bonus even on transferred airtime. Now, that’s really cool right?
Imagine someone loads N1500 and he gets additional N3000 as bonus. He/she then transfers the money to a friend who is also on the Jara Plus plan, the friend will also receive the bonus airtime. That’s basically the beauty of this plan compared to the MTN BetaTalk plan.
The downside of this plan is that it is only available to a limited number of subscribers on the MTN Network since it’s still a test plan and more so, bonus has to be exhausted within
14 days 3 days.
Call Rate On MTN Jara Plus Package
Just as the MTN BetaTalk plan, calls on Jara Plus plan are charged at 40kobo per seconds which should equal to N24 per minute. SMS are charged at the regular rate of N4 within domestic regions.
How To Migrate To MTN Jara Plus Plan
MTN subscribers who intend joining the Jara plus train can simply dial *409# or send 409 to 131.
As earlier stated, this is a test plan and isn’t currently available on all MTN Sims. Hence, if you get the not eligible kinda message, simply take heart and continue enjoying your current plan on the MTN Network.
