The first time I got an idea of the Infinix zero 2 with 3GB RAM was when a reader dropped a comment on a post where I talked on how to root the Infinix zero 2 X509. The reader asked if same process could be used in rooting the Infinix zero 2 with 3GB RAM. I was like ‘3GB RAM Infinix Zero 2?

Apparently, the reader seem to be correct and I say thanks for indirectly giving me that info. Before now, we received an exclusive report that a 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM version of the infinix hot note and the HOTTest one are the upcoming devices from Infinix. Well, there seems to be more.

infinix zero 2 lite with 3GB Ram and android lollipop OS
An insider has confirmed that Infinix is in the works of releasing an advanced version of the Infinix zero 2 smart phone which is debugged as the lite version.

But then, a version with 3GB RAM and 5.1 lollipop update wouldn’t be considered lite considering the fact that it tend to beat the initial zero 2 phone but then, the lite has a lower processor capacity compared to the initial zero 2.

Take a look at the full specifications of the device.

Update (8/8/2015)

We got through to a senior staff at infinix mobility and he confirmed the infinix zero 2 lite news to be a false news adding that only the 2GB RAM/16GB ROM version of infinix hot note and infinix HOTTest are the upcoming devices from Infinix. We apologize for the misinformation.

Update (10/8/2015)

Doing further research on the subject matter, the specs has been seen on the Infinix Mobility website which can be accessed HERE. However, placing a call through to the senior staff, he said he would have to confirm.

Apparently, he isn’t aware and that may just mean that, there are no plans of introducing the phone in Nigeria.

Going by the specs, you’d realize that the only difference between the lite and the initial zero 2 are the RAM size, processor capacity and pre-installed OS.

Don’t forget that soon, Infinix phones will be getting official android lollipop OS.
